Sparks The Rescue Frontman Hit On Head With Bass; Collapses On Stage
PropertyOfZack has confirmed with a fan at tonight’s show in New York City that Sparks The Rescue frontman Alex Roy collapsed on stage after being hit in the head with a bass, which then caused him to collapse a few moments later. The band’s tour manager is filling in on vocals to finish the set, but Roy has stayed backstage since the incident and it looks like an ambulance may be called for further assistance. More news should be coming soon, so stay turned.
Update: According to individuals at the show, it looks like Roy has emerged from the backstage area holding a towel to his head, but seems okay. EMTs stopped by the venue, but left shortly after.
Scary moment at tonight’s show. Just before Alex went down his eyes glazed over and I knew it was coming. Seemed like he was doing ok after the show, here’s hoping he heals up quick. And major props to the rest of the band for continuing on and cobbling together a set that kept the crowd entertained. Goddamn professional!
Last year, I posted my yearly Skyway mixtape exchange disc here, and hell, if once is good then twice is better, right?

As promised, here’s a downloadable version of my PropertyOfZack Playlist
When warm green summer flings turn cold and brown, and all things, even love, wind down, I strangely find myself at ease in the chilly air and the falling leaves. Somehow, wrapped in cold and gray, it feels ok to not feel ok.
